Baguette Bread Baking Tray:
The baguette tray I purchased from BWY Baking Store. You can choose the following sizes when purchasing, or you can refer to this link for online shopping: link
Baguette Baking Pan: Length - 38cm / Width - 16.6cm.
After the dough is prepared (approximately 820-830g), divide the dough into two equal portions. Then, cut two pieces of parchment paper of the same length and place them on the baking pan.
Then, use a spatula to divide the dough into 4 equal portions and arrange them on one side of the prepared baking tray.
Before starting, lightly coat the dough spatula with olive oil. Then, use the spatula to shape the dough into the desired form, as shown in the image below.
Next, using the same method, evenly spread the remaining dough over the other half of the baking tray.
After completing the above steps, allow the dough to ferment naturally for 20-30 minutes. Since baguettes have a faster fermentation time, you can preheat the oven during this time to 180 degrees Celsius, with both the upper and lower heat elements on, for about 10 minutes. Once the dough has doubled in size or has filled the entire baking tray, you can proceed to the next step.
Once the dough has finished fermenting (refer to the image below for reference), you can use a small knife to make cuts on the surface of the dough. Only after making the cuts should you place it in the oven for baking.
Baking temperature: 180 degrees Cel
Setting: Top/bottom
Baking time: 30-40 minutes (Please adjust according to your own oven)
The bread is done! Place it on a cooling rack and brush it with a layer of olive oil. Let the bread rest for 45-60 minutes, then slice and enjoy or store for later.
